"Originally from Kingston, NY, I grew up in Cary, NC (Raleigh suburb). I began my radio career in the Blue Ridge Mountains of NC at WTZQ-AM/Hendersonville. It was shortly after that in 1991 that I met Bill Catcher for the first time in Greenville, SC at WBBO-FM “Power 93”.
Since then, we have worked together in Utica NY and now here on the beach. Radio has also taken me “on tour” to Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Texas and Raleigh/Durham NC.
I am blessed with a wonderful wife (Melanie), 2 children; Kristen (1996) and Emily (2005). I am also an amateur radio operator, serving in the amateur radio emergency service (ARES), and am also a volunteer firefighter.
I enjoy spending time with my wife, Melanie, and the children. It is amazing how a look through children’s eyes can set things into perspective.
