Join MJ from Star 92.1 for the 2008 In The Pink! Third Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2008.  Use the walk's convenient and secure online registration feature.

 "In The Pink" Breast Cancer Awareness Walk event, sponsored by the Women’s Board and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Lowcountry Affiliate, is held annually in support of breast cancer awareness. Over 1,000 cancer survivors, family members, children and friends came to make the symbolic two-mile trek through Murrells Inlet in 2007. As part of the festivities, a Duck-A-Palooza Race was held after the walk to further support the cause. Sponsored "In The Pink" ducks were launched in a race down Murrells Inlet marsh.

Tours of the Georgetown Hospital System's Imaging and Breast Health Center at Waccamaw Medical Park are offered the day of the walk. Visitors can learn about the latest imaging technology and related services offered at the facilities.
